Will Whittington made five 3-pointers and finished with 22 points to lead Marist to an 86-78 win over Loyola on Monday night.
Carl Hood added 14 points, while Jared Jordan had 13 points and 11 assists as the Red Foxes (13-6, 7-4 Metro Atlantic Athletic) shot 59 percent.
Andre Collins led Loyola (11-8, 5-6) with 30 points but also missed 16 field goals. Shane James had 12 points.
Marist's largest lead of the game came at 35-17 in the first half.
The Greyhounds ran off a 30-17 spurt over 11 minutes in the second half to cut their deficit to 65-62. But Whittington made a 3-pointer on Marist's next possession and the Red Foxes held on for their eighth straight win.
