Lorenzo Miles scored 25 points to lead Niagara to an 84-70 win over Rider in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play Sunday.
J.R. Duffey had 24 points for Niagara (7-12, 4-7 MAAC), which snapped a three-game losing streak.
Clif Brown came off the bench for 18 points and 12 rebounds for the Purple Eagles.
Jason Thompson had 21 points for Rider (7-12, 3-8).
Niagara, which has just eight active players on its roster, played most of the second half without its leading scorer and rebounder, Charron Fisher, who suffered a knee injury.
Fisher will have an MRI on Monday.
